A collection of work by self-taught artist Thiago Una, born in 1985 in Chapada dos Viadeiros, Goiás, Brazil. Now based in Ilhéus, he draws inspiration from images found in books, on the internet, on TV, and in film. With a grandfather who was a senior Brazilian military officer and a father who was a communist guerrilla, Una takes on a wide range of historical military subjects, from fifteenth-century Japan to nineteenth-century South Africa.
