The Incomplete Deck is a zine documenting Hans Gremmen's ongoing project, begun in 2014, of collecting discarded playing cards from the street in an attempt to complete a full deck. Drawing on cards gathered in Amsterdam, New York, Las Vegas, Paris, Venice, and elsewhere, it offers a playful look at the history of playing card design.
