Photographer Boris Snauwaert's images are poetic and evocative. Made in natural landscapes, urban environments, and terrains vagues — the overlooked, transitional spaces at the edges of the city — they ultimately resist fixed definition. Sliver examines the meaning that emerges in the space between images rather than in any single photograph, foregrounding the shifts produced through the confrontation and tension between images placed in relation to one another. Each image informs and alters the reading of the next, generating a dynamic interplay of weight, scale, and texture; within these relational structures, perceptual hierarchies begin to shift, so that the small can acquire a monumental presence while the monumental can lose its inherent weight and significance.

Sliver is available with four different cover colours, each setting a distinct visual and emotional tone.
