This book documents, through essays, interviews, and photographs, how a timber warehouse built in Østbirk, Denmark in 1995 was transformed into the VELUX Group's LKR Innovation House. Rather than demolishing the existing building and starting over, the project kept its structure and exterior intact and changed it from within — exploring how the old and the new can coexist, and making the case for transformation as continuity, working with what already exists rather than against it.
