This book grew out of Jeroen Kooijmans's film Love-22-Love. Drawing on diaries and an extensive visual archive, it spans more than thirty years of his artistic practice, with his love for his wife Elspeth Diederix running through it as a central thread. It records his lifelong struggle with depression and psychosis with unguarded honesty, weaving together film stills and archival images into a portrait of an inner journey.
