Selected as the first winner of the Belmond Photography Residency, Mexican photographer Cecy Young spent two weeks at Castello di Casole, a restored tenth-century castle set on a 3,200-acre estate in the Tuscan countryside, to make this book. At this former seasonal retreat of filmmaker Luchino Visconti, Young — known for her fashion work with Dior Beauty, Chanel, and Hermès — followed light, texture, and fleeting sensation into a meditation on memory, time, and the transient beauty of everyday life.
