This book documents Über Brücken Bridging, a performance and exhibition project staged across seven Rhine bridges in Cologne from September 2022 to September 2024. Curated by Lisa Klosterkötter and Elena Malzew, the project brought artistic interventions, performances, readings, sound works, temporary exhibitions, and installations to the bridges and their surroundings. It includes a range of texts, among them Martin Karcher on the disappearance of the public realm, Ani Menua on collective trauma and the ownership of memory, and Marianne Bechhaus-Gers on colonial traces in Cologne's public space.
