Jorge Zontal habitually made these drawings during the group's brainstorming sessions; they're considered collective works both because of the group's principle of joint authorship and because Zontal signed them 'GI' shortly before his death. He drew more regularly after the group moved from Toronto to New York in 1985, and the loss and death of the AIDS era run through the drawings' recurring motifs and viral flow.
