This book documents the Chaguar cactus-fiber textiles that Olaf Holzapfel has developed since 2009 together with weavers from Wichí families in Argentina's Gran Chaco. Made in collaboration with Teresa, Mirta, Dionisia, Noelia, and Luisa Gutiérrez, these textiles combine the weavers' knowledge of the forest's colors and characteristics with a contemporary aesthetic sensibility. Texts by Olaf Holzapfel, Andrea Elías, and Inka Gressel are included, along with interviews with the Wichí weavers.
