Bringing together, for the first time, every record, CD, and cassette cover to feature his art from 1979 to the present, including covers for Black Flag, Sonic Youth, Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop, and Lana Del Rey, it was published alongside an exhibition at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum in Ludwigshafen and includes more than 200 works from the Stefan Thull Collection. The book features essays by Max Dax, Robert Eikmeyer, and Ulrich Loock, along with Kim Gordon's 1985 essay for Artforum.
