It is, on one hand, a statement about the appearance of objects as things to be observed, and on the other, a hint at the unsettling possibility that inanimate objects might be looking back at us. The photographs read as an unconventional kind of portrait series, and a layout built around a double cover and a rotated format lets facing images blur into one another.
