This book was published alongside Fiona Tan's eponymous exhibition at the Sprengel Museum Hannover, held to mark her receipt of the Lower Saxony Foundation's SPECTRUM International Prize for Photography in 2019. Goraiko means 'the arrival of light' and refers to the sunrise seen from the summit of Mount Fuji; page after page, the many faces of this iconic mountain unfold in a striking visual language.
