This book documents Cura's Garden, a long-term immersive exhibition American artist Ben Thorp Brown began in 2023 in the medieval garden of a former Carmelite monastery in Ghent. Expanding on the Roman myth of Cura, the project weaves together trees and other plant life, fog, sculpture, and sound. Richly illustrated and organized around the turn of the seasons, it also features linocut botanical prints by the artist's mother, Cary Thorp Brown.
